Dood! I thought I had a kick-Azz TV but yours is the ####!!! mega!
Some very cool rooms! My room is a bit too function-focused, so it doesn't have the cool factor, but it sounds freakin' amazing.
Whoa!!!! What is your system? Looks Sweet!!!! :righton:
By the way, I grew up in Indy. Graduated from Broad Ripple. And; lived in Lawrence, and Carmel.

Here is my setup in my apartment. Since my room is so narrow (grrrr...) I can't get far enough back to take a picture from the sweet spot.
EDIT: The coffee mug in the shot has no liquid in it!! It is filled with lose change. See post below.

Joe: I like your speaker stands! ;)
They do the trick. They are more solid than any speaker stand. No resonance of any kind.

Like the coffee cup balanced precariously on top of your system.

It actually does not have coffee in it! It has lose change in it. It is there to help dampen vibrations. Works like a champ. The block of teak adds some weight to the CD transport, and also isolates it from the DAC. The weight of the change helps dampen any vibrations between the components. I don't like to stack components, but due to constant moves at this stage in my life, my system must be able to pack up as easily as possible, and having a nice hifi rack is really not an option.

Joe, those notes above your turntable...were they left on your door by neighbors?

That would be funny if they were. :) Not funny for the neighbors though. I had only one note left on my door the entire time I lived in apartment buildings (which finally ended last summer). It was a very angry letter.

Yes, our neighbors are very funny. They are good friends. The apartment that I live in is actually Columbia College's on campus housing. I live on a "loud floor" so quiet hours don't begin until 11:00 on weekdays. There are no quiet hours on weekends on my floor.

We live in a two-room townhouse so the downstairs room became the 'music room'. It also doubles as a guest room, that funky couch thing folds down into a bed. Firm but comfortable. :) The shelves on the left hold LPs that don't quite fit in the closet, CDs on the 'rotation list', old radios and things, and various other items that just sort of end up there. The closet on the far right is the 'media room'.
Pardon the clutter, I'm that way. My g/f did such a great job organizing everything and I just go in and tear it all up! The 45s on the floor are from a huge box of radio promos, mostly 80s stuff, that I'm slowly transferring to CD-R. I set up my old Technics with a Stanton cart to play the 45s for that 'radio station' sound I remember.
The other photo is from the opposite end. The piano was made in 1922 by Baldwin in Chicago but sold under another brand (amazing what kind of info you can find on the 'net!). The computer desk was a neat thrift store find, along with the weird chair. BTW, there's a great poster of The Jayhawks from the Hollywood Town Hall album hiding behind the door.
Inside the 'media room', LPs on the left there and VHS & DVDs at right on top shelves, CDs and SACDs on the lower shelves. All filled up. :)

 Shot with a 14mm, holding the camera way over my head. Made easier thanks to digital preview.
