Since I needed a phono preamp although I had my current turntable for a year and so I can hook up other components to my bookshelf stereo including my digital cable, I managed to have my boss give me the Gemini PMX-1000 mixer which has been discontinued but we do have similar models available at NorthernLightFX. Now, here is the mixer as pictured below. Now I have a DJ system and home theater in my bedroom.

Very cool Bradley!
Are those XLR inputs I see on the left and right?

Now with this as the centerpiece to a few things involving my stereo which is only an RCA bookshelf, I have made it even more advanced than it already was courtesy of the mixer. I recommend everybody who has a similar stereo system than I do to buy a mixer, even if you aren't planning on being a DJ.

That is another great mixer, Michael. Gemini makes some of the best mixers on the market, Stanton and NuMark also makes great mixers as well. We have had many Gemini CD players returned so we have to special order Gemini CD players for people but in our showroom we do carry Stanton and NuMark CD players in the showroom. I haven't seen any NuMark and Stanton product that is junk including mixers. What do you have connected in your mixer?

You are definitely another supporter of some DJ/pro audio equipment just like me. I don't recommend it just for business purposes, but also as a user myself. If the speakers eventually go down and need to be replaced, we at NorthernLightFX do sell Eminence (Eminence makes raw speakers, the speaker cones, etc. and nothing else. They even make car speakers. Virtually a who's who in speaker manufacturers use Eminence speakers while companies like Peavey make the cabinets.) , Mackie and Community product. Mackie also makes great amps and mixers, besides speakers.

Bradley.
My wife uses it for her Disco CD's and such. It's not our main listening system. We use it for parties, fun gatherings and for practice with the "Band". :)

Great uses for the pro equipment and you never know when pro equipment comes in handy, especially for fun gatherings, parties, etc.
