Does anyone know where to get replacement tweeters for Bozak LS400 speakers? There are two 4 ohm tweeters wired in series. I'm using a cheap substitute now that just doesn't cut it.
How would one identify these? Is Bozak a speaker company? I know a place that has a bunch of tweeters in the basement storage....
They are always overpriced, though.

Bozak was a early high end audio company known for humungous speakers, such as the bozak concert grand. they've been out of business for a while.
this forum (diyaudio.com) was talking about them:

This site
http://www.oldhifi.com/Gearpage.html has Bozak B200Z aluminum cone two inch tweeters going for $25 a pop - do you have a parts number for the tweeter you need.
All the best - Andrew

It may also be worth talking to N.E.A.R as it appears they have all the original tooling and can recone all Bozak speakers

The Peerless 2" cone tweeter was a very close knockoff and might still be in production...
