anyone get the 12" 4 disc 45rpm mingus tijuana moods set? ive only listened to the vinyl once and so far i think the gold cd sounds a bit better. the horns on the gold cd are amazing, they get so high pitched that i always expect it to start distorting but they dont. im not the hugest jazz fan but man thats one of the best cd's i've ever heard. especially for being recorded in the late 50's. very nice.
