Oade mods for 555ES [Archive]

I want a 777ES but can't afford it:realmad: I plan on settleing for a 555ES from Oades. I hear their mods for the 555ES make it sound more like the 777ES. Anyone have any experience w/ a modded 555ES from Oades? They are an authorized Sony dealer and I read on Audio Asylum that to an average tech guy the unit will not look modded. Anyone know just w/ they do to the 555ES?? Their site does not say....

A friend at work got a 555ES modded by Oade Bros. He's very happy with it. Do call Oade, they're very good. I bought a 777ES from them just before it was discontinued (the 1st 777, not the current multichannel).
