It seems like it Sony Music International, catalogue no 506055 so perhaps its to coincide with Bob's European Tour this Spring. This has been carried by a few minor retailers for a while now, but now both cdnow and cd universe are carrying Highway 61 Revisited by Dylan as being 'remastered' and released on 5th February.

This might have come up already, but I wonder if anyone has anymore information on this, sources, producers etc....extra tracks??? I shouldn't get my hopes up for this I suppose, but I have scrounging around for Steve's version of this somewhere outside of ebay and half.com(they don't like johnny foreigner) as well as all the audiophile record stores for a long while now, and suddenly this appeared.

For more great information on releases and versions of Dylan's mid sixties output; I suggest having a look at Roger Ford's excellent site detailing Blonde On Blonde in particular, fascinating stuff.

I saw the same thing on CDnow a week ago. I'm just contemplating what Sony must be doing, as the sites that usually clam up on reissues, have said nothing on this item.

Mmmmm.... We shall see. Wonder if it'll be a 2 cd with an SACD layer on disc 1. Mono and SACD Stereo mix. Nice idea? There is quite a bit leftover from those sessions, it seems.
