SH Out Of Africa

Hi Steve (and Hi Holy Zoo)!
Good to be on this new forum! Within Steve's discography there is the MCA Original Motion Picture Soundtrack "Out of Africa" CD from 1985. I have that one, but as a German pressing with a different item number than MCAD-6158 (I cannot recall the number I have, something like MCA-3010 or so). I cannot believe that my disc has been mastered by Steve, since I am all but overwhelmed by the sound quality. In other words: I am used to expect a mucho better mastering from Steve's discs... Does anybody know if there are different versions of that soundtrack, mastered by different people? Or was the master tape that flat and Steve hadn't the time to get it right? Any comments?

I did one version, the initial American CD run, but after that, who knows?

They didn't have digital clones in those days, so your guess is as good as mine was was used for an import. No clue...
