DCC's Queensryche sounds really good... better than the regular remasters (compilation). I hope Steve will do some more hard rockin' remasters... why not Black Sabbath or Rush?

PS... ah, Simon Yorke turntable! Very good player!!!

Queensryche: Empire sounds awesome on DCC. If you like this album, the DCC's a no-brainer! Even though the original release sounds very good, this one's a big step up.

Thanks, I'll have to get it then. I never gave it a thought before since the OTS (off-the-shelf) version is pretty good. Actually, I'm really excited now, because Chris DeGarmo is one of my favorite guitarists. The drummer (Rockenfeld?) is also very good.

I played my DCC Queenryche: Empire for my brother at xmas. He's a big Queensryche fan from back in the Rage for Order days and was kinda sceptical of my gold cd collection. He was blown away, so I don't think your going to be dissapointed.

"Empire" remastered by Steve H. on DCC is one of the most awesome CDs I own. However, with all due respect, not all DCCs sound good. Of course this is the risk of providing to us the sound of the "original master tapes". Unfortunately sometimes "the truth hurts".

"Empire" was perhaps one of the most perfectly recorded albums ever done, therefore the DCC disc sounds perfect. But, Steve Miller "Fly Like An Eagle" really doesn't sound that good (to me), but I wont blame that on Steve Hoffman, I will blame it on the actual quality of the recording itself.

Go out and buy "Empire" and turn it up loud (especially "Della Brown") and you will not be dissapointed at all!
