Super Bowl, super halftime

No matter what you thought of the game's outcome, I hope you'll agree the half time show was spectacular. When you consider that everything was done live, including Paul McCartney's vocals, and that there was little time for set up of the stage, mikes, amps and hundreds of connections. With flawless ques for special effects and fireworks, a show that was done with style and class. No teen MTV production here. No wardrobe malfunctions. A great mini concert. Don Mischer deserves a lot of credit for this elaborate production. And McCartney is still smooth as ever.

I see that everyone else posted there half-time show coments in the off topic forum. Why? If ever there was an example of visual art, this production was it. What a dazzling display of electronic eye candy. A true blending of special effects both visual and aural. And for those of us viewing in HD, it really rocked the room.

I agree that this would seem like the correct place for this thread, and I agree that he was great. His show was my favorite twelve minutes of the Super Bowl day.
