Yipee I Got It

I purchased the Sony NS500V SACD/DVD player today at Circuit City. I must say I'm impressed. I'm not using it as a multichannel player, nor do I care to. As a red book player this model smokes. It sure blows my old Onkyo away. The two SACD titles I purchased were Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde" and Carole Kings "Tapestry". I highly recommend both discs. Now I'm ready for the Stones SACD's and Steve's Zombies "Best of"...bring them on...

Good going Joe. I am enjoying my new Phillips SACD 1000 immensely. I'm still waiting for my copy of Blonde On Blonde to arrive, but have heard mixed reviews of Tapestry.

Tapestry has it's problems, it never was a sonic wonder. However I think that the SACD of Tapestry is the best you can get. I think you'll love "Blonde on Blonde".
