I wonder why they left the long version (9:00) of "Bluebird" off the box set. Otherwise its a good collection.

I read somewhere that both Stephen Stills and/or Neil Young both hated the long verson. That's why it wasn't included.

Great version, plus that sound of the compressed Neil Young guitar sound, much like Mr. Soul, is all over that version. Grrr. It WAS a great classic version. Hold on to yer vinyl!

Funny , they recorded it, released it, and now they hate it! But don't worry they will love it again. When they release it on a NEW REMASTERED greatest hits compilation of everything we already own and just have to buy again for that MUCH HATED BONUS BLUBIRD track.

But I already have it on avery clean copy of their two-record set on ATCO. I pulled it out yesterday and some of the cuts sound much better than the originaaaal releases and the box set(which I do like for the most part).
