Well, my list would be very long, which is too long a story in itself. However, if I still had all my MOFI LPS , I'd be a rich man. tell me your losses.

What a cruel thread!! There are lots of them for me but there's one in particular you all will enjoy: I had the Steve Hoffman rare US version of the Who's Next CD (I identified it by listening to it at a listening station) and put it back on the shelf ($8.99). I figured I already had it on the Canadian CD. Quite honestly though I can't tell any difference between the two even though I read that they blacked out the space between the songs, I don't hear any dropout on WGFA on the Canadian copy either. Where in the song is it supposed to be?

All those ones that I sold off because newer versions were digitally remastered and therefore "better." I had that original MCA "Who's Next" -but an even bigger regret is unloading my Polydor mono "Quick One." But hey, we all heard about how those early CDs were rubbish, and I went for it too.

For awhile, after MFSL went belly up, Wherehouse sold MFSL discs for $14.99 a pop, $30 if it was two discs. There must've been plenty of disgruntled audiophiles around the area because there were tons of titles like the Allman Brothers at Fillmore East, U2 discs, Elton John discs, Tom Petty discs, multiple copies of "Catch A Fire" and "John Mayall....with Eric Clapton," John Mellencamp, TONS of copies of "Tommy," "Double Fantasy," "Songs For Swingin' Lovers"...

I was very conservative at buying the stuff because I only had so much money. Then after taking a couple weeks off for Christmas break, I came back and the prices doubled, some even tripled or quadrupled, and a bit later, the flood of MFSL discs went dry.
