I'm currently trying out two DNM Reson cables -- a set of speaker cables between my Dynaco ST70 and my Magnepan 1.6QRs, and an interconnect between my CD player and preamp (two very thin cables, with Bullet Plugs on each end).

These flimsy little cables sure sound good so far. They're airy, open, and fast. And surprisingly inexpensive.

I'm so impressed with the interconnect I'm considering some on my amps (McIntosh MC30s and the aforementioned Dynaco ST70). I might even return the MIT Terminator 2s I have on the Macs currently.

Is anybody using DNM Reson cords? I'd love to hear your impressions and your setup with them. They seem pretty much impossible to find in the US. My local hi-fi shop just happens to carry them, but I can only find online sources in the UK.

I do not use DNM cables - but have heard them plenty of times and they do "the business" - because of the way they are constructed you need to be very careful with regards to hum ( I have some VdH Carbon cables in a crate out back that also hum like a bee hive ) They seem to be one of the more common cables over here or at least my list of preferred dealers (which is not that long) all carry DNM.

If anyone from outside the E.C. does order from the U.K. make sure you ask for the VAT (17.5%) to be taken off - you people don't know how lucky you are with taxes. ;)

All the best - Andrew
