How many folks checked out Lost and Alias on ABC last night. First we had the swimming hole scene with "Freckles" in a very skimpy thong, and then Jennifer in Alias in a night gown that was TDF.

Missed it! I'm new to Lost; so far I like it, I've seen two episodes.

My guess is this is a sure bet for DVD so you will be able to catch up.

I wish I had started watching, "Lost," from the very beginning. Hopefully, it will be rerun or sold on DVD.

IIRC, there positively will be a Season 1 "Lost" box set.

I was working last night and I was taping 3 hours of NBC, including Law + Order and that Swimsuit thing. Haven't watched the shows yet.
I saw the tail end of Alias when I got home from work. Looked good.

Agree and disagree. :D I agree on Lost, insight was great, however, Jennifer can pucker her lips at me anytime she wants.

I thought this was a pretty weak episode of Lost. Maybe I am getting too familiar with the rhythm of the show, but I thought there was an awful lot of "telegraphing" going on in the Kate backstory.
As far as Alias goes, I am a huge fan, but I was expecting more from this much hyped two-hour season premiere, especially since we have been waiting for a new episode since last May. I know they had to re-setup the cast in their new working environment, but I feel this could have been done much more efficiently. Things picked up a lot when Marshall arrived on the scene, but I thought the first fifteen minutes was pretty uninspired (by Alias standards.) It looks as though ABC trounced the competition in the overnights, giving them a much needed night-long Wednesday win, so what do I know?? :D

I caught up a bit with Lost when ABC just repeated many of the episodes during the Christmas break.
Looking forward to the DVD later this year.

I could live with that... ;)
btw, enjoy it while you can - there's a very good chance that this will be the last season of Alias...

btw, enjoy it while you can - there's a very good chance that this will be the last season of Alias... I thought when JJ and Jennifer re-upped their contracts in 2004, it was for two more seasons. Although, if Alias doesn't hold its own following Lost over the next few months, then I guess all bets are off. But, the fact that Disney (ABC) produces the show should also help its cause. Plus, DVD sales of the season sets have been healthy. Compared to Lost, this is a fairly inexpensive show to produce and it already has a healthy revenue stream attached to it (DVD's, books, magazines, video games and other merchandising), so even if the ratings stay at cult level and never rise to blockbuster status, ABC can certainly make money off of it.

Gotta agree with Gary on Alias. (Recorded Lost and haven't watched it yet.) Have watched Alias from the first season and this was an enjoyable episode, but a bit flat. Plus I hate it when an opening scene ends with "72 Hours Earlier:".........
