View Full Version : David Bromberg "Demon in Disguise" CD?
I believe this was issued on CD a long time ago, but it hasn't resurfaced since. I've got it on vinyl, but my mom (!) wants it on CD, my tape copy of it isn't good enough!
Besides Sharon she likes Jugband Song:
I ask for water
She brings me gasoline
I don't have a stand-alone CD burner yet, so does anyone want to trade for a cdr of Demon? I've got the DCC Orbison, Rob Wasserman's Duets, maybe something else you want a cdr of.
Or should I just break down and buy a stand-alone CD burner?!

Hi,
Yea, I got it & will gladly send ya a cdr. Little confused as to how we can trade cdr's if ya don't have a burner. I must be missing something. Send me an email & I'll hook ya up.

Let's hope Dave Bromberg does not read this site. At least get your mom some tickets to see him and his acoustic band the next time they are on tour; great stuff.
:D
I've seen him several times live, I agree, great stuff. I wasn't aware he's been back on tour recently, though.
If Demon in Disguise were available on CD I would have bought it already as a gift for my mom. Several of his titles are not available on CD, I'm wondering why.

Jeffrey, great news, I will email you.
I've got a PlextWriter in my computer. I'm a newbie. Obviously I wasn't clear, but check me, I can copy CD's on the computer, but without a stand-alone hooked into my stereo I can't copy my great vinyl.

Hey Richard,
Do ya know when & where Bromberg will be on tour next? I thought he had gone cold turkey and was making acoustical instruments (mostly violins) around Chicago. Except for rare guest appearances w/ good buddies, I thought he didn't tour any more. Please tell us more.

For a month or two each year for the last few years he has taken his group on the road. I saw him at the Troy Music Hall, in Troy, NY, perhaps 2 years ago. :p

Hey Richard,
WOW! That's great news to hear that Bromberg is on the road again. I stopped looking for tour info from him b/c it had been so long since he had toured. Thanks for the info. Gotta find my tix.

Because he rarely tours I don't check, but here's a website with tour info (!):
The New Lee Super Highway (

Looks like he'll be in NY, MA, VA, and PA.
What's wrong with FL, eh?!
Hi all, Jeffrey's CD of Demon has gone mia so he can't follow through on his most kind offer to burn me a copy.
Anyone else out there got the Demon CD and willing to burn me a copy?
Hopefully I've got something I can make a copy of to make a nice trade. I've already mentioned the DCC Orbison, or Wasserman's Duets.
[I am respectful of copyright and prefer to only copy stuff that's no longer available.]
