Vince Gill? The guide was late. You get another chance the week of March 19:

A couple of weeks ago I tried to record Spoon and got Lawrence Welk instead. Definitely my fault on that one.

They were on in Albuquerque last weekend.

Here's a thread from the HTF that I started:

Yeah, I missed it last weekend. I'm waiting for the rerun, although a friend said he'd get me a DVD-R. :)

It's times like this (missing a band on TV) that I miss Suprnova.

Good Lips show, BTW. Don't see what all the fuss is about the Shins, though. Seem like an average bunch of college art-rockers who don't have their sound together yet. Bad idea to put them on the same bill as the Lips.

Do yourself a favor and check out their latest, "Chutes Too Narrow." After a few listens, the "average college art-rocker" thing will be out the door. The melodies will reveal themselves and then you'll suddenly want to listen to the album multiple times a day. At least, that's what happened to me. ;)

And this is coming from a huge Lips fan...

Couldn't possibly agree more.
