I need some input. This is for sale on a website, but still sealed it's pushing $90. Please help me find my senses here.

Is the remastering worth the hefty tag?

Thanks as always.

Nah. It's good, but not $90 worth of good. If it were "Stand Up" I'd say maybe, but there are better MFSLs out there. :D

Hehe.. Just remember. Ebay is a contact sport. Sometimes, the contact is all you'll get sometimes ;) Hey but good luck anyways!

God, I remember buying it at Circuit City for 23$..........It's excellent sonically, although I don't listen to it much......Not worth 90$......That's a bendover...

Here's a link to Audiogon that has the cd listed for $55. Maybe that's closer to your budget. I have this cd and think it sounds great and certainly much better than anything else out there.

Check it out...

What I've always liked best about the album is the back cover... might look nice in a frame, hanging over a turntable-based system:)

I love this on MFSL CD - one of my favorite Tull CD's and an audiophile type CD to boot!

But I compared the title track to Steve's Original Masters version. Ooooch, no comparison, man, Steve wins hands down! As I've said before, the MFSL smile (the EQ curve) is really noticeable. And the DCC is so much more real & natural - especially the vocals! And you can hear e v e r y t h i n g ! Aqualung - I think - is even better than Original Masters. Long Live DCC!

"Why can't do more of the Tull catalogue", he lamented... :(

Yeh, Gary. I totally agree with you.

How about a complete Thick As A Brick. Love the first half on Original Masters.

Thanks Steve H!!!

Just to let you know....I found it sealed at a used record store for $50! Couldn't pass it up, so I snagged it...

Thanks for the help. I'm saving the links on those on-line stores you passed on to me!
