The original vinyl of this great album sounded fine, even the cassette was ok, but the CD version is almost unlistenable!! I would love to hear this remasterd by the great Steve Hoffman! Rob

This CD does suck. The keyboards sound flat and uniform track to track, as if they weren't tweaked for each song. I remember the bounce on "Swallowed By the Cracks," now MIA.

BTW, if you like David & David, pick up the Toni Childs ULTIMATE COLLECTION on Hip-O, which features a lot of their work backing the singer, decently remastered.

Oh man that's a great album. I saw where Baerwald (possibly spelled wrong but I don't feel like going to AMG to check) is touring.

Gaithersburg? Man, you're in the big city! You can probably buy groceries after 6:00 p.m.

DEEP MARYLAND (tm): You know where Waldorf, Charles County, is? Okay, go one hour southeast of that on 5/Branch Avenue. Now you're in Lexington Park. Now go twenty minutes south of that. Now you're in St. Mary's City, home of St. Mary's College. Okay, now drive another twenty minutes south of that. Now you're in Scotland or Ridge, aka DEEP MARYLAND (tm). Any further south and you'll void your rust-through warranty in salt water. Nope, no bridge to the Eastern Shore or Virginia; you'll just have to turn around.

Yet, somehow, suburban sprawl is finding us even here. We may even have to put in a traffic light in the next ten years. We just got touch-tone service this last decade, so we're catching up. Still can't use cel phones, though, despite the colored-in Verizon maps.
