Anyone can tell me, what's the value for the most sought Gold CD's/LP's from DCC or Mofi?

I have the complete collection in my rack... but I think the most Mofi's are a waste of space...;)

One of the ways to check the value is look on ebay completed auctions and that should give you an idea of their value. Also check around some of the online oop dealers.

Probably the most sought after and costly DCC is the 24KT Sampler as only 2500 were pressed, $200 sealed and between $75.-$125 used. The most expensive MFSL's have to be The Jazz and The Gospel Samplers, going for around $1,000 US. when you find one sealed. Opened approx. $250-$500 US.

I agree with Dave regarding the DCC CD, the most sought after and costly MFSL CD IMHO is the SPCD-7 Test Compact Disc (there are two different versions: IASCA edition and NACA edition) which sells for US$ 500-750 in used condition, sealed would be even higher.

It seems like the prices fluctuate. (sp) Sometimes I will see a title go for big bucks. The word must get out because all of a sudden I will see that title up for sale all over the place.

Lately, because of the economy the prices have been down. It is a buyers market.

I believe DCC and MFSL discs will keep their value because of the packaging, sound and rarity. It seems like alot of these titles will not likely be available again on an audiophile label.

Funny, I thought the 2 different Jazz Samplers JS-1 (with real music) would command a higher price than a measely test cd. Sometimes I guess there is no accounting for taste.
