He's performing in our area. I am a big fan of his SCTV and SNL work, but never got into his latest Jiminy Glick character. Has anyone seen him on stage recently?

Well, I sprung for the tix, so we'll see. Hopefully it will be Ed Grimley intensive.

Short's show is ultimately heading for Broadway. I'd love to see it, but can only imagine the ticket prices.

$32-65 here in the Tampa Bay area in a nice, intimate venue (I chose $45 seats in the 15th row). So, let's see, about $97.50 on Broadway for the nosebleed section? :D

I've only known Short to be more of a television and movie actor/comedian, never heard of him doing "standup" before. Perhaps these are his first such appearances.

I saw him in a west coast stage version of "The Producers." He co-starred with Jason "Seinfeld" Alexander, and while they were no Zero Mostel & Gene Wilder, Martin Short held his own.
Loved his stuff on SCTV, and Jimminy Glick is off the charts. Love how he cracks up his interview guests as he wolfs down a heaping tray of candy and rolls off his chair. One of a kind.
