I finally broke down recently and decided to see what all the fuss was about and caught "Collateral" at the AMC Framingham 15 in MA and was taken with the brightness level and lack of flicker. I thought I saw some artifacts, too, but I imagine some of this was the result of the director's aesthetic choices. For those of you who have been seeing movies at DLP-equipped cinemas for a while, has the technology advanced since Star Wars Episode II? Sure wish I'd seen "The Incredibles" in DLP, but driving three hours just to see a movie is asking a lot!

I wish there were DLP equipped theaters on Long Island but I believe the only ones are in the City right now.

I think our new Emagine theater near us may have a DLP screen or two in it. Although The Incredibles is no longer playing there, so moot point I guess.

I've never seen a movie this way, and want to just out of curiosity. Won't see Polar Express, since we're going to see that at the IMAX in December.
