Wow, I was surprised by this one. Nice video and a DTS soundtrack that is not listed on the box. This is a concert double disc set of Eric and various artists playing some great tunes. The picture is a superb 16x9 widescreen spectacle, and the sound (DTS) is amazing. A very well done surround presentation for a live event. No "magic" instruments appearing in the rears, but a nice 3 channel spread across the fronts with the audience and ambience in the rears. It fill the room nicely.

A great version of James Taylors "Steamroller", done in a smooth style, with a guest solo from Joe Walsh - who is always fun to watch! ;)

I have more to watch, but so far I think it's well worth it if you are interested. Includes Clapton, BB King, JJ Cale, Robert Cray, Vince Gill, Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Larry Carlton, ZZ Top, and more............

Buddy Guy and the gang doing "Sweet Home Chicago" is great too. There are some real nice close up shots of the guitar playing in this one. Damn, these guys look like they are barely touching the strings!

Is this a new release or an old one? I have one called Eric Clapton & friends In Concert, A benefit for the crossroads centre in Antigua. It only has a Dolby Digital track, not a DTS one.

Is this a new release or an old one? I have one called Eric Clapton & friends In Concert, A benefit for the crossroads centre in Antigua.

That one was a charity concert at Madison Square Garden in 1999. With Dylan, Sheryl Crow, etcetera.

This new one is the sequel, also staged to raise funds for Clapton's Crossroads Substance Abuse Clinic in Antigua. Filmed this past June at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. It was a 3 day event;
