SACD mastering?

Steve, I'm curious - with SACD, what does one send off to the duplication plant? Obviously it's not a regular DAT or CDR. Do you send off a special format DVDR?

Indeed, is there any super-propriatery pro SACD-R recorder out there?

Well, the DSD equipment (and equipment operator) come directly to us via Sony in New York. He takes the feed from us in the studio and it goes into his super duper machine with a zillion gig hard drive. You'd like the readouts on his monitor. Truly fun to watch.

That's all I can really tell ya at this point. We don't see it again until the test is ready.

The Sony folks make it really easy for us, so we don't have to sweat it. Were all of life that easy....
