Does anyone else have this. I just picked up this new box set and was watching Dementia 13 in it. Everytime Elvira is about to pop in during the movie with a comment the movie picture appears to freeze for a second or two. Then as it's about to go back to the movie the same thing happens to Elvira, it just freezes for a second. I've tried it on two different DVD players with the same result. I haven't had time to watch any other movies so far so I don't know if it is in all of them or not. Anyone else have this problem?
Mike, I don't own the DVD, but what you are describing I seem to recall one year when watching her Halloween special. It was a few years ago. What year was Dementia 13?

1963 I think. Most of the Elvira looks newly recorded.

Do you have the option of watching those movies without the Elvira "pop-in"s? It may be "seamless branching" that's not quite seamless.
This has been done with a few movies so you can choose the theatrical or director's cut on the same disc. If you choose "theatrical cut", it just skips the added scenes. "The Abyss" was done like this.

When it comes to my B-movie PD horror films, I'm content with budget DVDs, even if a lot of them have poor quality, at least I get the movies without Elvira popping in.

I have Elvira on LD, not that title,...I know I have Eegah and maybe another, and I never saw any abberations like the one described. I thought the edits were purr-dy smooth. Her commentary is very good on Eegah. The other one I have is some sort of inept alien invasion film, unless I dreamed this? Which is quite possible!

Yes the un-Elvira'd version is there.
