Anyone can explain me, what are the differences between the american and english version of Aftermath, Between The Buttons and Out Of Our Heads?

I have read... ABKCO will release both versions... so what version I should take?

Thanks for all comments!

Different tracks. The British versions don't have the group's big single at the time of the release, but replacement tracks N/A on the US version but subsequently released in the US on Flowers and subsequent collections.

Might I add that I cannot, for the life of me, see why they're doing this. The UK albums (with the possible exception of Out Of Our Heads!) are the only ones that make real *sense* to put out on CD. I mean, look at it! If you wanted to SIMPLIFY the Stones' catelogue, this would not be the way to do it. The American Aftermath is the British one with Paint It Black and missing several other tracks + the short version of Out Of Time. Why can't PIB just be a bonus track on the British variant? It boggles the mind.

This is gonna be an interesting set of releases, to say the least. Will ABKCO get it right this time, or expect us to rebuy their same old rubbish in a shinier can? Can't wait to read the debates about the remastering here either, because I'm taking a wait-and-see attitude before opening my wallet!

It certainly would make more sense to just add the singles to the British versions, wouldn't it?
I suspect the reason why they're not is........

More than likely, Bill. But watch somebody from ABKCO spin it as "we wanted to stay true to the integrity of the original releases". ;)

I don't think it's a bad thing to do.

In much the same way there are people here who like Meet the Beatles or Beatles VI.

People who want the version they grew up with can get the American version. People who want it the way the Stones wanted it can get the British.

And nobody is forcing anyone to buy both.
