You mean send as in email? If so just attach it. Hit the liitle paperclip in your mail program and point it to the file.
Some internet service providers have a size limitation on files attached to emails. With mine, its 5 meg. Not enough to send alot of mp3's. Way to small for wavs.

Many of the Instant Messenger services (including AOL) have file-sharing capabilities, so if you connect to your buddy via AIM you can chat and send files of any size, you simply have to both be on-line at the same time. You could connect to each other and then walk away or chat.
The great thing about AOL's AIM is that it lets you continue sharing if you had to stop an earlier session (this may be true of other IM services too, I don't know). Let's say you've got a 17Mb song and you stopped the upload at 11MB. If you start to upload the file a month later, it will start at 11MB, not from the beginning.

That is rather easy to deal with by using winzip or other compression tool that can make multiple archives. You won't get a much smaller file (not with MP3, though you can compress wav's a little), but you can cut the source file into several files of the needed size and send them. The person on the other end must be able to extract the original file from the archive though.

...is it my imagination, or has the "Our next drawing will be in two weeks" message on the main page been up there for about three weeks?
