Almost got the LD because I thought it wasn't coming on DVD until I turned 40 or somethin'. Anyone got it, and how is it?

I've got it. I've only watched the movie so far. Oddly, for this is the first time I was a bit unsettled watching a new transfer. I've watched the movie so many times on an old videotape that the clarity of the picture and the sound threw me a bit. It wasn't the old movie I'd known and loved. I haven't been too judgemental of picture quality, but it sure beats the VHS.

I got this last week. Looks great to me. I really like the new enhanced home theater mix they did for this release. Some cool directional effects, and great low end. The supplemental materials are very enjoyable too. The new DVD is definitely worth your while.

I really like the picture quality. Only listened to it in stereo, so not sure how the HT Mix is. But, it's a great DVD, IMO.
