Steve H-how about a limited editon s & p uhqr only
1000 copies.i would gladly spend $75 for the ultimate analog pressing..ccr on a uhqr i would love to spin one of those.i think uhqr's or the like would be another great source of streaming
revenue.
how many on the steve hoffman forum would be willing to spend $75 on a uhqr mastered by steve hoffman?
Count me in (although that's $120.00 Canadian plus shipping, customs duties & taxes - gulp!)
That's a GREAT idea. But what would be the differences between a regular LP and a UHQR?
Should the normal LP be downgraded sonically or vinyl wise? Better packaging for the UHQR?
Or perhaps this is just a marketing ploy for sales?
I don't know how MFSL did it..... anyone know?

Gary,
Steve would NEVER deliberately downgrade the audio quality of anything!!!!
Oh, I know that! Sheeesh! That's the LAST thing Steve would do. He'd probably quit if they tried to make him do that! That's why I put the " " in there - to show that it was a ridiculous idea!
Sorry I was not clear, Paul L!
........... now I hope that I did not get Steve upset...... gulp! .....
How about the 1st 2500 or so off the stamper, pressed in 200 gram ultra quit (Quiex) vinyl, hard box with deluxe notes. That was what MoFi's represented (they were limited to 5000 pressings off a stamper).

How about these first pressings being offered to members of this forum only for the first 30 days. There's got to be some reward for hanging out here besides seeing pictures of Steve hanging out at pressing plants - that ain't workin'
