I have been thinking of replacing my DENON 2900 with a 3910. The 3910 has these hirez outputs. Currently I am using the component (Y/PbCb/PrCr) output for video to my projector. However, I have heard that the DVI-D output is supposed to be the best, but now I see there is ANOTHER output called HDMI!

Is there someone who knows about these newer outputs and their beniefits?

THANKS

Not sure about the component vs DVI/HDMI but at least I can tell you that HDMI and DVI are the same. Difference is that HDMI has a smaller connector and supports 5.1 audio. There are cables and adapters for HDMI/DVI. So at least that makes it a bit simpler.
