Rockpile Live DVD - Looking for Opinions

I've recently become aware of an (ahem) 'import' DVD of live performances by Rockpile.
The disc is called "Pleasure of Rock and Roll" and contains footage from the German Rockpalast and American TV from 1980.

I'm aware we can't discuss where to obtain the disc, but I was wondering if anyone has it and can please comment on the quality of the broadcasts.

Are these boots? I have seen them at Tower. I have Little Feat DVD recorded at Rockpalast and it's OK. I mean it's not great but how much footage is there of Lowell George? I have a boot of Rockpile live in NYC that pretty much sucks. I would love a "proper" live disc.

I have this show on a DVD that I made myself from an old beta hi-fi cassette. And it is a nicely filmed show. Outdoors with a good audience and proper sound mix. At least my copy is.

So if it is not too expensive, I would spring for it if I were you and like Rockpile / Dave Edmunds.

Little Feat is official but as far as I know this Rockpile is a total bootleg.

I have a few of these and they seem to be hit or miss. I got the Faces with Keith Richards and it sucks so bad with cuts and jumps but I will swear by my King Crimson in Japan. When I get these I try to go to the same guys on Ebay or if I find a web site. Some of them trust. One guy sent me a email telling me how bad his Plimsoles DVD was and I would hate it. This was on EBAY!!!! I got a few things from him before so he was open about it. You have to dive in sometime but if it is on Ebay, Check his feedback first and do not be afraid to email questions.

My favorite one was a SLADE DVD and he threw in a BATMAN short some guy spent 40.000 on.The flick had Batman, the Joker , Alien and the Preator all mixing it up. The flickwas only 15 mins long but the "Making Of" was over a hour!!!! SOmetimes you get the good stuff too!!!!
