HEY!!
As a High School Graduate of 1981...I can only add one thing to that list... Climax Blues Band-- "Flying The Flag" The only album NOT available on CD so the only way to get their only other hit song "I Love You" is by getting the $40 import greatest hits collection.

I want Steve to master 1984. Literally. This was on DCC's list a loooooong time ago and I've been wanting it a loooooong time.

Between the two of you, you have pretty much covered a lot of my wish list.

There are some great suggestions on the other string under this topic as well...

Do we have a better chance of seeing any of these titles if we vote individually? Or do we just become redundant? :)

Personally, I will check out anything that comes out of Steve Hoffman's camp. The guy just does incredible work.

I have never found any other label's releases (major or otherwise) that compare to any DCC versions. Same goes for any other labels the "guru" has mastered for. His always ROCK! Hands down winner every time in my comparison tests!!

I have even experimented on my non audio buds... When they ask me why I would spend extra for the same title when I can get it for cheaper. I do the blind test on them. They always pick the DCC's too!

When I go to the bins to buy, if there's a DCC, I don't hesitate. I know its gonna be worth the extra few bucks.

I'm a die hard fan and don't mind saying so.

IF you know what pressings to get. I have japanese vinyl of Abacab and Face Value and they are superb. I did not find the original pressings of Freeze Frame (US) objectionable at all.

How are the current Police remasters? I heard that the blue boxed set sucked but of course they've been redone yet again.
