View Full Version : Steppenwolf
Has anyone done a comparison sound check between the self titled Steppenwolf that Steve did at MCA with the MFSL version?
And if so, please let me know what ya think? :D

The Mofi release sound pretty good... I think it's the besta available version around. BUT I have never heard Steve's version!

Has anyone seen any MOFI copies of Steppenwolf recently?
That's one that seems to be in short supply.

A local music store has several copies of Steve's MCA version new and sealed in the long box. I will provide a copy at cost if any one is interested. Just doing my loyal duty as a member of the forum.

Steve's version is the "Compact Price" version from the 1980's.

Okay... why not ask Steve? I'm sure he have heard Mofi's Steppenwolf. I think it's one of the best remasters from Mofi.
Claus,
I agree totally that Steppenwolf is one of the best MFSLs but I myself would like to own Steves version as well.;)

that's fine... Steve must be proud ;)
I am interested if you have enough. Just let me know how much and I will cut a cheque!

Andy,
Been meaning to ask you, what does WWLFD stand for?
At the risk of being thought of as crude, I’ll let you know.
