I shamefully visited the BSN site this morning and Tom Moulton (Mix-by-Moulton for you inner groove readers) posted that the Who's My Generation material is all mixed and ready to roll; apparently, there was some dissatisfaction with the sound of My Generation's guitar and it's been fixed to Pete's liking. Tom's in the bidness and got info from a big shot over at Universal. I'll be in line when they release this - not just for the early Who stuff in stereo, but also for cleaner source material...

Meantime, I took a peek at Shel Talmy's site (http://www.sheltalmy.com/whotapes.shtml) and it looks like there are publishing and other legal complications preventing the deluxe My Generation from being released until later in the year.
