I rented the movie, THE BONE SNATCHER, (on the NEW RELEASE shelf now) the other night due to a friend recommending it. On the cover it looked to have some potential, a good monster, a good idea, a neat premise, and nobody actors. This means things can go either way for a sci-fi movie...pretty good, or pretty bad. Having seen almost everything at the rental place I gave it a try. My wife and I found this movie was so bad that I actually found my self somewhat angry at the way things were done. Realism, continuity, logic, general human nature, and everything else...all of it was out the window for this movie. The potential for this movie to be, at the very least ok, and the best pretty fun to watch, was right there...and then the people who made the movie got involved. If you have seen this movie please let me know what you thought, and why. I must say that I never went into this movie expecting an award winner, life changer, or anything like that. I was just looking for something fun to watch one night.

I've seen The Body Snatcher, and The Bone Collector...but no, never The Bone Snatcher.
Too bad you were disappointed. I guess sometimes them's the breaks, particularly with action/horror/sci-fi flicks. (Of course, sometimes you get "lucky" with one that's *so* incompetently made that you can enjoy it for camp value if nothing else. ;) )

Nope, and from the sounds of it I won't be seeing it in the near future either!

Watched another real stinker yesterday called Dark Harvest on DVD from Netflix.
Low budget...real low and poor acting. It's the typical 8 young adults spend the night on a creepy farm where murders has happened years before...now the dead want revenge.
The only redeeming factor is there is nudity during a swimming scene...two girls laying out in the sun.
This is one of those movies I watched real fast and sent it back promptly.
