Also both "x-Men" films were great!

I agree. Singer is a good choice. But, I guess this means that the script penned by J.J. Abrams is out, then?

Won't Tom Cruise just kick him off the movie?

Was that the wacky script circulating months ago, with all sorts of extended Krypton/Jor-El scenes & large amounts of Superman "revisionism?" As much as I love Alias, if Abrams' script is out, then all the better.

The guy from Smallville should play the Superman role. Is more logical donīt you think?

I don't think he is good enough, and frankly, I don't think you cheapen a $200 million movie by associating it with a TV show. To be taken seriously, this production shouldn't have anybody from the TV show.

But is kind of wierd that a Tv show about Superman, from Warner Bros, donīt follow the logical line of the story. I think you canīt split the two shows. In the year 2004 youīre going to have two "officials" Clark Kent? Sounds wierd to me..

Doesn't seem that weird to me. The 'official' Superman novel (Last Son of Krypton) that was published as a tie-in to the original Richard Donner film doesn't even take place in the same universe as the movie. Marvel currently has several Spider-Man comics, and one of them (Ultimate Spider-Man) takes place in an alternate continuity where, among other changes, Mary Jane discovers that Peter is Spidey years before they graduate from high school.
The 'X-Men Evolution' TV cartoon has a different continuity than the movies, which have different continuity from the comics. Likewise, the continuity of the CGI Spider-Man on MTV is surely different from the Sam Raimi films.

People just want a good story. Consistency is no big deal.

Just so long as they don't invite Adam West back to play Batman...
