View Full Version : Steve, have you ever done any Eddie Cochran?
If not, is it by any chance on the to do list? Sadly, another great one who was taken from us much too early.

Never did any, damn it.
Great drums on "Something Else".
All Eddie's songs were engineered by my buddy Stan Ross at Gold Star Recording.

Steve,
Eddie's hits could be well served with your mastering! I would love to hear Somethin' Else and Nervous Breakdown with the Hoffman touch!

[B]Thanks. Great songs! Too much midrange....
Steve,
I believe I know of a mastering Engineer that could make that mid-range less prominent.

Yahoooo!!! Nervous Breakdown is beggin' for a sloppy wet, throbby remaster - makes me wanna quiver just thinkin' bout it! Sorry, got a little carried away there folks - another way cool version is one cut by Bobby Fuller in his home setup - whoooo, smokin' fine job by the El Paso rocker (another "left us too soon" character - do I sense another thread sprouting???)

Are there ANY decent reissues of Eddie Cochran? I have a 2LP set on United Artists from 1971 which sounds, I fear, like garbage.
Anyone have the CD from Razor & Tie?
