I know the conflict of enjoying the city and the compulsion to look for stuff we can't get here will come up. I'd rather have an idea of where the good shops are instead of wasting valuable time looking for them.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Anyone want me to pick something up for them? :)

Hey Gabe,
I had a great time CD shopping in Paris last summer.
The best used Jazz CD/LP shop in the world is Paris Jazz Corner 5. Rue de Navarre ph. 01.43.36.78.92. Open 11:30AM to 8 PM. They have a another store next door that sells R&B, Latin Jazz and Blues. It is in the Latin Quarter (Left Bank). Metro to Jussieu or Monge.
Another used CD place near there is Jussieu Music (metro Jussieu). They have 3 stores each selling a different style of music including rock. 16 and 19 rue Linne and 17 reu Guy de la Brosse. Ph. 01.43.37.57.02. Open 11:30 to 7:30.
I came home with about 35 Jazz/Rock/Blues CD's.
The Virgin Megastore also has great sales on new stuff.
Good luck.

BTW - Anyone know of a good CD shop in Dublin? Will be going there for my honeymoon next week.
