A Marantz of similar vintage would blow the doors off that thing.

So is that the case always that a Marantz will blow a Mac away?

Please explain a little more thoroughly so that I may understand as I'm new to tubes.

I saw some pics of Gary's Mc components and that stuff is super sweet. Steve sez the MX 110 pre is a good'un. The 30 year old ones I saw on eBay all went for about $650.
