Is the Simply Vinyl pressing good or should i try and find a USA issue?

I was able to pick up the "Desire" Simply Vinyl release for $12.99 new, and for that price I think it is worth it. The sound is a bit thin and bright overall, but the vinyl was super quiet, and it sounds better the domestic CD release.

I have the early Columbia domestic release from when the album was first released, but all my albums were damaged in a large basement flood. I haven't got around to cleaning up the early domestic release, so at this point I couldn't tell you if the original vinyl release is any better than the Simply Vinyl.

Personally, though, I wouldn't pay much more than what I paid for this pressing - since I can tell you it definitely isn't worth $29.99 or even $26.99.

The US pressing in mint shape will beat the pants off of the SV issues. I don't have the UK pressing, so I can't say.... The ones in the US are plentiful, and should be cheep!!
