"Let's Dance" drummer

I was pleased to learn that Jesse Sailes was the drummer on "Let's Dance" by Chris Montez. Jesse also is responsible for the drumming on "Monster Mash". His playing on that is so simple yet so hip!
If you can listen to that song without moving, go see a doctor!

Yeah, Jesse was a great drummer, all but forgotten today. The surviving LA musicians speak about him with affection.
