I thought there was a thread on this subject, but I must have read it somewhere else.

At any rate, I have owned for several years now, a sealed copy of the MoFi CD of Somethin' Else - don't remember where/when I got this one. Whenever I want to hear this album, though, I pull out my vinyl copy which is good, but a little lacking in the top end department. Despite this album's monstrous appeal to most jazz enthusiasts, I don't find it as interesting as I do some other Adderley recordings I have, and that may be the reason that it's never been unwrapped.

So, here's the question: Is the MoFi appreciably better than any other CD version out there (and thus, sould I open & enjoy it?), or should I list it on ebay and let one of those filthy rich gold CD collectors pay me handsomely for it?

sgb,

There was a very recent thread on this that should be helpful!

Don't know how I missed it in my earlier search. Based on the descriptions, maybe I'll just keep the thing sealed for a while longer.
