What band performs this song?

I can't hum it, nor can I write the music notation, so all I have are a snippet of lyrics. It was sung by a male vocalist in the mid 70's, has lot of acoustic guitar and sounds kindof pop'ie:

"Take a little rythm,...

Anyone who can help out on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to find it so I can purchase it. Thanks all.

You're looking for "Take a Little Rhythm" by a guy named Ali Thomson. Hit #15 in 1980. Ali Thomson is the brother of Supertramp's bass player. The only CD I know of that includes this song is Rhino's Radio Daze: Pop Hits of the 80s Vol. 3. There were 5 volumes, and unfortunately, they're all OOP. They do turn up in used bins and on eBay every so often.

Ali Thomson also released an import best-of that includes the original version and a remake of "Take A Little Rhythm." Unfortunately, I'm at work and the CD's at home, so I can't give you more information until later...sorry. :(
