There's a new episode on tomorrow (Thurs.) night at 9, opposite the series finale of Frasier (my VCRs will be humming).

I've watched all season, primarily because I like Andrew McCarthy. I thought it had a lot more promise at the start, but they've approached it like a soap opera, in other words, nothing much gets done each episode. I think it would have been better as a miniseries, or something like 24. You don't get the sense that the show is going anywhere, even though it does kinda have a Twin Peaks bent to it.

My TV listing has the NBA Playoff listed...

I like it for just what it is:)

24...now that's pure fantasy of the worst kind...:)

Ugh. I'm a huge Stephen King fan, heard great things about the original Lars von Trier version of this, and was really looking forward to it... but couldn't get through the first few episodes. I thought it was awful... easily the worst King miniseries. I didn't think anyone was still watching. After high expectations it's been a ratings disaster...

Yup, Me & the Wife are holding up the fort;)
I did not see the original version...
Compared to most of the junk out there, this is passable entertainment for us...We don't have cable and our main entertainment is DVD's. My lovely Wife & I enjoy a few Weekly TV shows namely...This, MADTV, The Practice, & NYPD Blue with our choice of 3 working channels (ABC, UPN & FOX!)

Hmm, Michael, given their ratings, one can barely call ABC a "working channel" these days. :D It's weird how the nets run on hot and cold streaks.

I shouldn't joke, though. The NBC-Universal merger just became official today...

Don't go by ratings..ABC's working just fine giving me...
I kinda like 3 channels:) It makes me watch more of my favorite DVD's! Although I can't wait for Sunday! The final episode of The Practice...Never cared/watched the show until James Spader showed up...Looks like a possible spin-off next fall for him!

I don't have cable either, Michael. Haven't seen this show, though I did see Stephen King's house when I lived in Bangor, Maine. His gate in front of his house is covered in bats! Creepy!

For me, with the limited broadcast TV options, this show is OK in my book:thumbsup: Check it out, they run a quick recap every week, it should give you an idea of what's happening, although it doesn't replace seeing it from the beginning.

That must've been neat:)

I will agree that The Practice has been particularly good this season...

James Spader brought it to a new level...Never cared for it before.
James is one of my favorite Actors.

Years ago when I first saw James Spader, I could not believe the resemblance to my Cousin...He looks exactly like him! It is uncanny...and they're the same age:)
A fine actor indeed!

Re: Kingdom Hospital, I was disappointed to find that, despite being in this week's listings, the show did not air tonight. So, I got online and found this from Stephen King's official site:

Dear Kingdom Hospital Viewers,

ABC will run the final 4 episodes of Kingdom Hospital as three one-hour episodes and one 2-hour episode. Episode 10 is called "The Passion of Reverend Jimmy" by Tabitha King and Stephen King. Episode 11 is called "Seizure Day" by Richard Dooling. Episode 12 is called "Shoulda' Stood in Bed" by Stephen King and the last episode which is 2 hours is called "Finale" by Stephen King. All are directed by Craig Baxley and they will run on consecutive Thursdays beginning June 24th.

Stephen King

Too bad in a way, but the show did seem to lose focus not long after it started...
