Steve,
Any chance of seeing these titles? After hearing what you did with Straight Up and No Dice it's hard to listen to the others especially *** which sonically sucks to kingdom come.
Apparently that may be one the reasons Capitol passed on reissuing here in the USA., since it was only available as an (expensive) import.

I would also love to see DCC versions of these titles, however I think it's unlikely for a couple of reasons. First, although they're both great records, they were not the best selling titles in Badfinger's catalog and so DCC or A&P or whatever Steve's new label is called is unlikely to sell them in quantity. Also, they are controlled by Apple and I get the sense that everything from Apple has tons of red tape. I remember from the old forum Steve commenting something to the effect that they tried for years to get licensing for No Dice.

I missed *** on UK cd as it was $23 on up every time I saw it. Well, I have looked and looked for decent clean vinyl and never found it. SO, back in the day of N*pster, I found the whole cd on somebody's hd at 160kb resolution mp3's, downloaded it, and that my friends is the copy I am stuck with.
Tried declicking the vinyl in the Mac and was more unhappy with THAT than the mp3's.
I have the whole rest of their catalog in multiple formats. The japanese cd of (self titled) seems to be the better one, but the german cd of Wish You Were Here seems to have the edge.
Is that last one (WYWE) not the flattest, most un-dynamic thing you ever heard in your life? Sounds BETTER with the loudness circuit activated!

The vinyl *** sounds yards better than the CD issue. If you're not vinyl phobic, I'd keep looking for it.
