View Full Version : Elvis 24kt Hit Question

I've posted this before somewhere in another thread. I have the idea that on the 24kt Hist DCC LP the voice of Elvis in the last 2 tracks is not so clean compared with the rest.
I realize that these 2 recordings (In the Getto and Suspicious minds) are a lot newer than the rest, so maybe these records have been recorded with Solid state equipment instead of tube equipment for the others. Or maybe it is just a different type of microphone used. Can anyone enlighten this for me or comment on it?

I believe what you are hearing is "where" Elvis' voice was placed in the mix. In other words, less upfront.
