According to Heather B at customer service, that's the gold remastered CD in the box (see the link provided above). Is it on backorder - it says its in stock?

CDnow sucks! I will never buy anything from them! I had a CD on backorder for month, then they finally tell me it's unavailable! and Out Of Print! Which it was not. I found it in stock at another Mail Order dealer for a cheaper price.

Anyone get their copy or at least looked up their account to see if it is being processed? I ordered a copy and it says its backordered. Either I was too late or possibly everyone is in the same boat.

Got an e-mail today confirming shipment from CDNOW. Oh boy!!! I won't really believe it till I see it though......

Yeah, I'll be really skeptical up until music is coming out of the speakers. CDNOW does suck on a number of levels. Why can't they friggin' post product numbers??? Sure would help people know what their getting. As if a track listing is good enough! Then again, it probably is for most.

Total bust!!!! Skinny little package from CDNEVER arrives today. Sure enough, the standard domestic version. Unbelivable. No mention of price adjustment. We're only talking about a $20 difference! I'm totally done with CDNOW. I used to be a big fan, but they have changed for the worse in a big way since they got bought-out by the Germans.

Sorry to hear about that. I was really hoping for a miracle. Overall I have been happy with cdnow but have had a couple of problems. They have been quick to fix them and usually offered me an additional $2 credit to my account. i'm sure if you email them they will make things right. I have meanwhile cancelled my backordered copy of Fragile. Oh well....

Oh sure, they'll take it back and refund me, it's just a pain in the ***. I don't know, it seems to me that the bottom line is their prices kinda stink now. I can't find a real reason to buy anything from them anymore. Rather support local small scale record stores for the price.

No problem taking the leap for the gang here......figured the safety net was they wouldn't ship if they didn't have it. Makes sense on paper. No product = no ship. WRONG!
Oh well, I guess I had some fun believing :D

Extra SUCK Carl, My condolences. Is there a matching catalog number that goes with the order/recipt? Somehow, I think this is a hole people are stepping in quite often.

:( CDNOW is OK to look up titles. I haven't ordered there in years.....
