The MOST talented comedian of his generation, Chris Morris , finally has his news spoof BBC series released on DVD today, called "The Day Today". I cannot recommend him enough, makes the Office seem very average.
It's also where Steve Coogans "Alan Partridge" Character appeared

I've had this on preorder(along with Marion & Geoff Series 2) as soon as I heard about it. It's hard to believe this show was made ten years ago. A lot of the bits seem almost prescient in hindsight, like the war coverage in the Magnifivent episode - and much of the humor prefigures what The Daily Show has accomplished over here. And of course here in the states, Elviscutions are now relatively commonplace. ;) Looking forward to Morris' commentary, as well. And anything with Steve Coogan gets my best pennies. Hopefully with his upcoming movies Around the World in 80 Days and Coffee and Cigarettes, he'll get some talk-show exposure on this side of the pond and more of us can see why he's one of the funniest men alive.
