Watching a cool show right now on the HGTV channel called That 50's Home.
It's airing right now @ 9PM EST so you folks in the other time zones can maybe catch it tonight. Vey cool show and learned alot about 50's furnishings and styles.
Didn't know they sold TV lights for the top of the TV's to prevent eye strain!

That's cool. I didn't know they USED to either, but I know that it's a part of the NTSC standard (rarely observed, obviously) that the signal be viewed in a darkened room with a light source behind the TV (to avoid glare), that puts out 10% (IIRC) of the level of a 100% white signal on the monitor. You can buy them now that are color temperature balanced to 6500 K, the color temperature TV's are supposed to be set to, also rarely observed.
