I worry about these things......

We spend most of our lives amassing these wonderful music collections which we will cherish to the day we die, but then.....err......we die, and some ungrateful or less knowledgable relative sells it all to the nearest second hand dealer, including those yellow looking ones in the funny cases, for $1.00 each.

..........I worry about these things.

I'm sure trying to raise my kids smarter than that. I tell 'em they should make plenty on the Beatles stuff alone. Plus my wife is a lot younger than me so she'll know better, she has spent more than half her life with me and in record stores.

Check the used CD stores, everyone............. !

Mention in your "Will" the VALUE of these items..... bring up your kids and train them in the audiophile way...... leave the good stuff to someone who is an audiophile. Just don't tell them about it...... we don't want any premature accidents, do we? :D

Exactly! Educate both the kids and the wife, after all, who else can you really trust.;) I just tell my wife "Pay attention this is your retirement when I'm gone!"

If I have no living heirs when I pass away, I plan on leaving my collection to an educational institution for research or appreciation.
