Back to the '50's!

Panisonic's B-flat Tube CQ-TX5500D: The World's first CD car receiver with a tube!

"The company said the product copes with MP3 and reproduces deep sounds from compressed music sources, and will retail for about $796.00 USD. No immediate information is available for availability in North America." From: Metro Today" a local Toronto 'free' paper.

There is no English on this web site that I could see.

Bet it fits in convertibles, Steve! ;)

Oh yeah! I don't think I'd be able to take my eyes off of it. It's a good thing I can't afford the thing, the roads are safer that way:D

Oh my God!!! That's absolutely THE MOST AWESOME car cd player I've ever seen!!

I can see it now, parked on the edge of the ocean, watching the sun go down just me and my baby and my cd=r collection. I recline the seat a little and think to myself ahhh, now that's beautifull, too bad the wife couldn't make it.:D

Looks like my old mastering console. :)

Remember folks, as GM and Ford found to their regret, tubes and bumpy roads do NOT go hand and hand.....
